Foundation Center and GuideStar merged to form Candid in 2019. Fulton County Library System continues to provide free public access to Foundation Directory Online (currently from the Ponce de Leon branch library while Central is under renovation). Find other locations offering free public access

GrantSpace contains everything a grantseeker needs to learn and to connect with others. It has a calendar of grantseeker training opportunities at the Foundation Center's Atlanta office, samples of proposals, and a live chat. Registration is free. Also visit the Foundation Center-Atlanta website to find local community assistance and learn how to leverage scarce dollars with nonprofit collaborations.

FDO Quick Start is a free grant search tool offered by the Foundation Center. Free registration gets you quick data on over 100,000 foundations. 

Foundation Directory Online provides access to information about grantmakers and their grants. These grants must go to entities with 501(c)(3) status. 

Foundation Grants to Individuals Online provides access to information about funding sources that can go directly to individuals. Also see online training and tutorials for individuals. IRS Charities website. Includes important tax information for nonprofits as well as Publication 78 (the list of tax-exempt organizations), and the Automatic Revocation of Exemption List. Verify a charity's status with the IRS. Quick 990 lookup tool.
